The location was very convenient, but the walls were very thin, the shared toilets were noisy, and the power outlets simply didn’t work properly.

The location was gorgeous right in the middle of Venlo, but I forgot my ID and was stubbornly turned away. My husband tried to send a copy, but that didn’t work either, so I was left standing on the street. Luckily another hotel welcomed me warmly.

The bed was comfortable, but the value for money was far off. You pay for a space with no windows that contains a bed and a shower. Nothing else. The shower is very loud, so you’re woken at night by a neighbour showering and again in the morning. Even though there are no windows to the outside, there is a little window to the corridor that can’t be properly covered, so it’s not dark enough.
