It was really good value for money from the start, and the host is a very nice guy who speaks excellent English, which made the safari experience pleasant; breakfast and dinner were also good value, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a clean, quiet stay while doing a safari in Udawalawe.

We fell in love with this place. The hosts are kind and humble, and the owner took us on a safari tour at a great price. He handled all the tickets for us, so we didn’t have to worry about anything and could fully enjoy the safari. He also made a fantastic breakfast for us during the safari. If you’re staying in Udawalawa, you have to stay here.

The place is perfect for staying in Udawalawe and visiting the safari. The room still smelled of newness, was clean and cozy with a very spacious bathroom, exceeding our expectations and leaving us very satisfied. The accommodation and surroundings are very pleasant and quiet. In the morning you wake up to jungle sounds. The host is very friendly and helpful, and he took good care of us. He welcomed us with a welcome drink and dinner, and arranged a safari at a much better price. He’s an experienced safari guide and expert, knowing exactly where to find animals in the park and always sharing many interesting facts. We saw a lot in one day. He also prepared a homemade picnic breakfast with a view of the elephants. If you’re looking for a safari that’s not just a “tourist attraction” but where you really learn a lot and see animals with care and respect, this is the best choice! We’ll love to return.

Everything was great. We had a dinner at the owner’s place and it was really good. I would advise you, if you come from a long trip to Udawalawe, to take this option. We also had our first safari with the owner and we couldn’t ask for more. He knew everything, explained a lot during the safari, and really took care of us, ensuring we had a great time. We also used his “taxi” service to get to his stay and he drove us to another. What a time at this place!. /

Great place to stay near the national park! The location is perfect, very close to the park entrance. The hotel staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The room was very clean and spacious, which made our stay even more comfortable. We definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again!
