The location was the main draw, and the only snag was having to turn off the shower in the morning; I told reception when I checked out that it was still trickling a bit, but otherwise everything worked.

Located in Larne, the Curran Court Hotel offers easy access to the Port of Larne, a 1-minute drive away, providing ferry connections to the Scottish Highlands. Each room features a deep red accent wall, flat-screen TV, private bathroom, hairdryer, and complimentary tea and coffee. The Alexandra Restaurant serves lunch and dinner with a children's menu. Belfast city centre is a 25-minute drive away, and Larne town centre is within a 1-mile radius.

The spot is great near the ferry terminal, the big parking lot is right outside, and the food is very good.

I loved the night meals, but the room felt more suited for a disabled guest than the usual rooms we get; the sink was too low for me. I adore Curran Court and stay there every time I'm in Larne; next time I'll ask for an upstairs room because they’re better.

Parking was easy, the place was clean, and the rooms were big; some staff, notably Julia at reception, were very helpful with directions. The check‑in wait was long, the breakfast staff seemed more focused on setting tables than serving, and the evening menu food quality was lacking.

We were ten people from Athlone, and we all enjoyed our stay; customer service was spot‑on, especially Lisa and Elaine. The room, location, dinner, lunch, and 5‑star comfort were all perfect.
