The room was cleaned daily. However, there were broken outlet covers, a broken shower head adjustment, a broken coat hook, an extremely impersonal atmosphere, and some restaurant staff seemed unmotivated. By 9:00 the breakfast buffet was barely restocked, and the rolls were barely edible.

The large, comfortable bed was great, and the room’s quietness was helped by its location facing the courtyard; the kettle with tea and instant coffee on the room, plus the generous breakfast buffet and friendly reception staff, were all positives. However, the shower head was far too big and heavy to fit the fixture, making free‑flowing showers impossible, and the bathroom door always stayed half‑closed, which dampened my mood.
