“Okay”
The views were lovely, but the staff left a lot to be desired.
“Beautiful sunset, good breakfast and bbq grill and bonfire.”
The view was breathtaking, rooms were quiet and spacious, clean, and the common area was great. There wasn’t much to complain about; the layout was excellent, plenty of room for every guest, and the view remained amazing.
“We were only ones there it was great”
The only positive note was that it was not open.
The spot was spot‑on for touring Acadia and just chilling on the porch with the gorgeous scenery; the room was comfy, Wi‑Fi worked fine, staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was spotless. Breakfast was simple but included, and the fridge in the room had ice ready whenever needed; a shared microwave and dining/sitting area could have been open any time. The only downside was that the windows were locked and couldn’t be opened—no sea breeze—and there was no coffee or tea after breakfast hours.
“If the above issues had not been at play it was good. Otherwise it was OK.”
The location and cleanliness were fine, but there was no Internet for almost the whole stay, and one night the wind was so fierce that the old windows rattled for hours and the door to the outdoor deck kept banging because the latch didn’t close, ruining sleep.
