We got the room we wanted, which was nice, but there was a bit of a letdown - the pub next door had closed down just before we arrived. That was a shame, as we were looking forward to checking it out. Still, the room itself was good, so we can't complain too much.

The location wasn't too bad, I'll give it that. But that's about where the positives end - the room was tiny, and there was no hairdryer, which was weird since it was listed as being available. And to be honest, the place was a bit of a mess, with cobwebs everywhere and dirty surfaces. Not great.

The bed was honestly the best part of the stay - it was huge and super comfy.

The hotel had a modern feel to it, which I liked, and it had a certain charm that made it feel a bit more special.
