The kitchen facilities were good. Traffic sounds (can't do anything)
I couldn’t sleep without earplugs because the street right outside is so busy, and the bed kept wobbling.
“Amazing rooms”
The place was lovely with an amazing, very clean room and it’s only a 5‑minute walk to the M1 bus stop and to Lidl and Sainsbury’s; the communal kitchen had all the pots, pans, utensils, a fridge and freezer, which was handy, making it one of the best places we stayed, though it would have been easier to turn on the TV if there had been a remote, the downstairs TV made up for it.
“Badly managed. But okay for a short stay on a budget”
Price-wise, it was among the cheapest. The first two nights were horrendous – one of the rooms kept everyone awake, most likely drug‑fuelled. The owner sorted it out by the third night, which was great. However, we ran out of toilet roll and were told we’d have to pay £20 for toilet roll and fresh towels. The bin in the kitchen was never changed, and it was only changed because my fiancée got fed up with having a bin bag on the floor.
“Disappointing”
The parking spaces were self‑catering, but when I asked for a quilt I was accused of staining it and hiding it, which felt either cheeky or money‑driven, and the toilet wasn’t clean.
