The peace & quiet was a treat! The ferry ride to get there sets the tone for an adventure. The sunrise boat trip was great - seeing flocks of 100's of pelican - truly special. The view from Room 211 is amazing - could have sat on that deck for a week. The staff were very pleasant. The massage was so good - highly recommended!

The remote, wilderness‑surrounded setting was tranquil, and the spa facilities were excellent. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet my expectations.

The location in the forest with lake views was incredible. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and the food was great. I took a morning walk with Lucky, which was fantastic, and the drive there was interesting. The place probably needs a bit of TLC here and there.

The only redeeming feature of our stay at this place was the beautiful lake. Unfortunately, that was where the positives ended. The food was small and took a long time to arrive, and we were left without electricity for most of our stay. The grass roof was infested with insects, which fell from the roof and bit us. It was a really uncomfortable and frustrating experience, and we wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel's stunning location, surrounded by nature with breathtaking views of the bay, was a major draw. However, the property itself felt old and neglected, with our hut showing signs of wear and tear. The musty smell and humidity were overwhelming, and we had to get used to sharing our space with geckos and insects. The staff were friendly, but seemed unhappy, which was a bit concerning.
