The location is great. The beds were uncomfortable, the food was just okay, and there was no shelter from rain in the smoking area.

The bed felt very comfy, the bath and shower were spotless, and the staff were warm and welcoming. However, the lobby looked too dark and uninviting; the Black and Silver design felt harsh, and all the lights beyond the check‑in desk were off, giving a cold vibe instead of the cozy ambience I prefer when away from home.

I loved how close the hotel is to shopping and Colonial Williamsburg, and the staff were super friendly and the building itself was clean. On the downside, the beds were too soft, the AC unit made a terrible noise when set to cool, and the handicap rooms lacked safety bars or a shower seat.
