It’s close to everything, but there are homeless people around.
“Great value.”
The place was clean, basic, and offered great value for the money. Having actual staff on site was a plus, especially compared to budget motels where remote staff often don’t answer the phone to resolve issues. The only downside was that there was no soap in the shower.
The spot is great, above the main downtown traffic and super quiet, and the TV is nice with loads of channels. The only downsides were a dresser drawer that wouldn’t open, a burnt hole in the bedspread, and one USB port that wouldn’t charge.
“About what I expected”
It’s a quiet spot with easy access to shops, restaurants and the highway, and the room comes with a small fridge, a coffee maker and a microwave oven. The shower’s water pressure was insanely high—almost painful to your face. The wall paint was peeling and the bed quilt looked tired.
“A good affordable place to stay in Placerville.”
This is a decent, affordable hotel about a mile from downtown restaurants and shops. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the place was clean. It had a coffee pot, a mini‑fridge, and an ice machine near the check‑in. The staff were friendly and laid‑back, making it a good value for a budget stay.
