The Mudan

The breakfast was good, offering both Chinese and Western options plus freshly baked waffles. The food was clean and the restaurant had a nice view, with plenty of drinks like coffee and red tea. The room was spacious and spotless, featuring two hot tubs that produced excellent mineral water, leaving my skin silky after a soak. The bed was large and comfortable. The outdoor pool area was pleasant, and the pulse-wave pool was a unique treat. Bikes were available to rent, and the 12 pm checkout allowed me to stay in the outdoor pool after leaving the room, which felt very value‑for‑money. I arrived late because of the drive, so dinner was almost over when I got there; there were hardly any dishes left, and when I asked staff for the complimentary drinks they didn’t respond. I paid a steep room rate but didn’t get a substantial dinner, which was a real disappointment.
