The location was great and the stay met expectations for a single night. However, the price was €60+6% VAT instead of the €60.50 listed in the reservation. Two bulbs were out, and the bathroom curtains and wardrobe rail fell as soon as the window opened or a garment was hung.

The beds were spacious and comfortable. We felt the lighting was insufficient, especially in the living room, and the dining area lacked enough light.

Being close to the motorway made it easy to explore the villages of the Pasiegos valleys; Lierganes is a 15‑minute drive, but the hotel prices I found elsewhere were completely different.

I stayed here because I had an early flight the next day and needed an inexpensive option that allowed me to leave by 6 am. For that purpose it worked perfectly. The staff member who checked me in was very kind and waited until 21:00 or later, which I appreciated since this is a pension, not a hotel with 24‑hour reception. The room was very clean, spacious, and had a classic, simple décor—nothing extravagant, but everything was well maintained. The bathroom was tiny, so staying several days might feel cramped, but for a quick overnight stay it was more than enough. Overall, for a budget overnight stay, it’s a solid choice. 👍 The only downside was a noisy machine in the exterior area below room 4. It ran for about an hour, then paused, then restarted, repeating throughout the night, which left me sleeping very little 😴. I assume rooms on the other side don’t have this issue, but because I was directly above the machine it was quite unpleasant and made normal rest nearly impossible. Other than that, everything was fine, but the noise should be checked as it can heavily affect guests in that room.
