The location on the Route des Grandes Alpes is ideal for travelers on the move, and the dinner offered was acceptable. Unfortunately, the maintenance state of the building is quite poor; with one toilet for seven double rooms, the cistern is broken and the toilet seat is loose, and the shower head in the only shower is also broken—things that could be fixed with minimal effort.

The place, friendly staff, and local‑product meal were great; the dinner was delicious but a bit “rich,” yet a few hours of wood cutting, a night walk in the cool, and a good sleep followed. The hearty breakfast kept us satisfied until noon. Nothing else; it’s a mountain inn, isolated, the staff does their best, everything isn’t all young but the atmosphere would lose its charm if one wanted higher comfort, which isn’t really necessary anyway.

The location is strategic for Col de l'Izoard, and the price is low compared to nearby facilities. The boy/waiter’s availability and courtesy are excellent, and the tap water in the room is very fresh. Only one bathroom and one shower for six rooms is too few. Wi‑Fi on the ground floor is great, the first floor is discreet, and the second floor is absent. The fixed‑menu dinner costs €25 and breakfast €11—too much for what I received.

The charming setting, secure courtyard, and shelter for motorbikes and bicycles are nice, and the room is spotless. There is no restaurant, and the minibar water is flat and paid.
