Hotel del Real Orto Botanico occupies a historic building opposite Naples’ Botanical Gardens, offering spacious, elegantly furnished rooms with satellite TV and air‑conditioning. Guests enjoy a reading room with piano, a garden, and an outdoor terrace with panoramic city views, where summer breakfast is served. Within 800 m lie the National Archaeological Museum, Piazza Cavour, Capodimonte Observatory, the Cathedral, and numerous traditional restaurants and pizzerias.

The fish restaurant next to the hotel was very good. The balconies face the street and a gas station, and the doors aren’t airtight, so gasoline fumes seep into the rooms. There’s also a lot of traffic noise, like honking and general clatter. The shower couldn’t be hung up, and the cash register was broken.

The rooms are large and spotless, and the staff were friendly and assisted me on several occasions. It’s a bit far from the main tourist spots, so you’ll have to walk a lot, but that was fine.

The staff welcomed me warmly. The room is large, clean, and very quiet because it’s inside. The location is excellent. Nothing negative.

It did the job; it was a bed for the night, close to the port, and there seemed to be nice cafés in the area. The bed was a bit low.
