Coffee, tea, dates, water and fruit were available, and we didn’t feel pressured to book dinner or breakfast. There was a dune nearby for sunset viewing, the bathroom was spotless, and we were the only guests in the camp. Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect.

We chose a simple camp for an authentic experience, but safety, communication and pricing transparency were severely lacking. Two pre‑arrival emails went unanswered. On arrival, we were the sole guests and no host or responsible person was present. Only two staff members were on site, and they spoke very little English, making communication almost impossible. We didn’t know if anyone would stay overnight, and as two solo women we felt unsafe. There was no emergency contact number or way to reach a responsible host. Several services were charged differently than advertised: dinner was billed at a much higher price than the email, a short dune drive that was advertised as “included” was charged the next day, and at departure a very uncomfortable billing situation arose, with staff pressuring us over the phone; we paid not because we agreed but to end the ordeal. In short, simple can be simple, but not unsafe, opaque or intimidating. We cannot recommend this camp, especially for women traveling alone.

The desert location, the dinner, the bed’s comfort, and the staff’s friendliness were all great. The tent doesn’t seal tightly, so it may not be to everyone’s taste, and there is no lockable door (it’s a tent, not a door), which should be clarified to set expectations. The bathroom is outside the tent. I loved sleeping in the tent, but this should be made clear because it might not suit others.

1) Super clean tent and bed sheets 2) good communication with Host 3) It was just two couples in the whole property so we got the peaceful experience which we wanted. 1) Breakfast and Dinner was very basic. Especially when we paid separately for food. 2) we felt the care taker was just doing his job and not interested in any thing. 3) The solar lights were broken and displaced, I fixed them, the care taker didn’t even noticed these little things
