There was nothing special – it felt like a squat. We never even reached the room; the moment we walked in, the cigarette smell and the reception area’s appearance were enough to turn us away. We weren’t sure if the people there were staff, and they didn’t introduce themselves – that was enough for us.

You get what you pay for! It’s not a glamorous place, but I slept soundly in a comfortable bed. It’s not pretty, but it does the job and the staff are friendly enough.

The staff were friendly, but the bathroom was tiny and constantly smelled of shower drain. The shower and toilet share a wall, so the room stayed wet after use, and there were no shower or hygiene products. The sink was very small and the toilet was old. The fridge was large but noisy, so we unplugged it to sleep. The TV and bed were good, but there were no blinds—just curtains like you find when you leave Spain. Storage was minimal: only a nightstand and a cabinet that covers the fridge where you can put a few items, and there were only three hangers. There was no housekeeping or room service; we were given two towels and had to ask for replacements, which was frustrating. The space was cramped, yet adequate for sleeping. Noise between rooms was high.
