Located near Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor and the Naval Undersea Museum, the hotel features a full-service restaurant, lounge with evening cocktails, and previously had an indoor pool and hot tub, with Olympic National Park a 1.5-hour drive away.

I was close to where I was headed, but there was no AC.

The view over the water was great, yet the AC failed and the room felt warm.

Staff fixed a booking mishap that wasn’t anyone’s fault and would have cost us twice as much if unresolved; we appreciated the friendly help. The building’s AC was off and the air was muggy, plus our room sat above dryer vents so opening the sliding door released a noticeable dryer exhaust scent—not bad, but still. They did give us a box fan.
