“Beau complexe sur une île loin de la foule”
The property is brand‑new, with villas, buildings, and a mini‑golf course under construction. The hotel was almost empty and still getting used to service. Small cars shuttle you from the reception to the only currently open restaurant, or to the two beaches, the three pools, the aquarium, and the light‑and‑sound show at the fountain. The rooms are comfortable but there’s nothing to dry your swimsuit with and no furniture on the terrace. The bed is huge and perfect. Three Russian hosts greet you and offer activities; they also speak English and are friendly. Most guests are Russian or Vietnamese. The restaurant serves à la carte, and when it’s busy, a well‑stocked buffet is offered. Lunch costs 400k and dinner 650k; there’s no other option, but it’s great. The variety changes daily. Kudos to the chef. Breakfast is also good; they don’t push consumption and provide free water. On the downside, the complex is still in a trial phase. There’s no laundry service yet, so I had to wash my clothes by hand without a dryer, which was a pity. The biggest disappointment was the reception – it was slow, especially for checkout, which is hard to understand. There’s a lack of efficiency – apart from one young Russian, staff don’t speak good English; that young Russian is responsive. At arrival, they could give us a map of the complex (highlighting what’s built or not) and an up‑to‑date program; they could explain the hours. We were told the restaurant closed at 22h and took last orders at 21h30, but when we arrived at 20h40 we were told the buffet closed at 21h! We had to rush dinner. All these things are being worked on to provide a better client experience. Despite that, we really enjoyed the stay.
