I appreciated the separate toilet and the fact that it was a bit away from the bed. The room itself was roomy, with a lovely balcony that had plenty of space. A small fridge was included for snacks. The beds felt a bit too soft for me, and the rain shower was heavily limescaled, so the cleanliness left something to be desired.

The room was comfortable for two people and the facilities were new, but the sofa‑bed was terrible and unusable for sleeping. The third adult in our room had to put a mattress on the floor, so the triple room doesn’t comfortably accommodate three people.

The hotel was good. The breakfast staff were not pleasant or customer‑focused.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were naturally friendly. The bar manager was skilled and courteous. The rooftop pool was suitable for a morning refresh. The train station is about a ten‑minute walk away. No complaints.
