We had to cancel our plans because of terrible weather at Hotel Willy. The rooms were fine, though the staff could have been a bit friendlier and more attentive. In the restaurant, service took a long time to notice we were there; it was quite full, but the food was rushed and seemed better if the place were less crowded.

The hotel was beautiful, very clean, with friendly staff and an ideal location for all kinds of outings. It sits right on the bike path, and the picturesque old town of Gemona is a short walk away. The street and nearby train are not noisy at night (good windows, good air‑conditioning). Bikes or, in my case, a motorcycle can be parked in the hotel’s own locked garage, and there are plenty of sockets for e‑bikes. And the restaurant 😋😋😋 is simply fabulous—just watch out for Monday closures! Overall, a perfect stay, I’ll definitely return 👍. There were no negatives.

The tree was a pleasant surprise for me. The location is good, with private parking near the bike path. The room was spacious and spotless. The dinner at the restaurant was excellent.

Unfortunately, I arrived on the restaurant’s off‑day, so the next opportunity for dinner was far away.
