The hostel in Punta de los Remedios turned out to be both cheap and surprisingly comfortable, and the meals cooked by Mrs. Yarline were genuinely tasty. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, which made it easy to pop out for a quick dip. All in all, everything about the place worked out fine.

I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, the staff’s friendliness, and the low price, all within a short stroll of the shoreline. The host even offered to show us the flamingo lagoon and the nearby river, and the lunches and dinner were both hearty and enjoyable. Nothing really bothered me.
