The staff at Casa Alma provided excellent service, offering constant security, familiarity, and attentiveness to our questions and needs. Staying at Casa Alma gave us a fresh perspective on tourism—more conscious and immersed in local culture—letting us truly experience the magic of each place through the customs and lifestyles of the locals.

The place was clean and well‑located, but the host was unwelcoming and unhelpful; the photos were misleading, and it felt unfair. We were supposed to have breakfast, yet on the first day we didn’t receive it even though we arrived 20 minutes before breakfast time.

It was a truly peaceful spot, ideal for disconnecting and reconnecting with nature, the bay’s sea is gorgeous and the place feels very safe. The food choices were very limited, and it would have been helpful if guests were warned about the limited lighting at night and the fan from the moment of booking.

The natural setting is nice, yet the photos don’t match the place, there’s a lack of cleanliness, and the site feels unhealthily dirty.

Everything about this place won me over – Eros cleared up all my questions right away, Gustavo (the guy running the hostel) was friendly and served some seriously tasty breakfasts, and Doña Orfelina in the kitchen cooked up delicious meals. The spot itself is gorgeous and the bay even more so. It blew my expectations out of the water, so I’d recommend it without hesitation.
