“Sehr empfehlenswert!”
The staff were incredibly friendly, something you don’t see often, and we were allowed into our rooms two hours early because they were already ready.

The rooms sit on the top floor of a building that’s mainly a restaurant, so there’s no front desk or regular hotel staff; the location is right in Küsnacht’s centre, near the train station, eateries, and a supermarket, and Bean Bear’s coffee bar is next door. Blue‑zone parking is free from 5 pm to 7 am right outside. The room is small but well equipped: the bed was fine, the shared bathroom was clean and modern, and there’s a sink in the room for washing, shaving, brushing teeth, etc. A Nespresso machine with capsules and a few snacks are provided, and the daily replenishment of sparkling and still water bottles is a nice touch. A wardrobe is available too. Check‑in and access with the code went smoothly. The only downside is the pillow, which was far too soft for me, and the Wi‑Fi was spotty—my phone couldn’t use it, though my laptop worked better. The church bells ring all hours, and there are no other facilities, but that wasn’t a surprise. Overall I was pleasantly surprised.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and cozy, but the bathrooms are shared among many rooms and the church bells nearby can be loud.

Apart from the Chilbi that took place in the plaza during the first two nights, I loved the location. The room was serviced daily, with fresh water, several coffee pods, and light snacks refreshed each day. The shared bathroom and shower were always immaculately clean. The room was very small, and although the property wasn’t at fault, the Chilbi that weekend added a lot of evening noise.

The reception was friendly and efficient upon arrival. The pre‑check‑in at the computer was a bit odd, but the phone call beforehand mentioned that a Chilbi was happening in the village, which was helpful. Even with that heads‑up, the noise level was hard to gauge for someone not local. The departure was uneventful, and the cleaning lady had already checked us out.
