The staff were very friendly and efficient, the location was right, and it was quiet. The rooms were very tight.

The location is great: about a 5‑7 minute walk to Ikebukuro station, where major lines pass. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and very well sound‑proofed, so darkness at night is perfect for sleeping. Free coffee and tea saved my mornings! The washer and dryer in the hotel work well and are convenient. We arrived earlier than planned and were able to check into the room a little early, which was exceptional. The staff were very welcoming and genuinely tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The equipment sometimes malfunctions a bit, but it didn’t cause major trouble. The air‑conditioner made a strange noise at times, though fortunately it didn’t happen at night. The shower tap was slightly damaged and didn’t match the instructions (nothing serious, we could still use it). Finally, the lack of a flush‑volume selector on the toilet was a bit disappointing; it felt like the toilet always used a lot of water. If you have large suitcases, you might have trouble opening them fully because the rooms are small.

The location is good, but the room is a bit narrow, which is typical for all hotels at this budget in Tokyo.

Check‑in and check‑out went off without a hitch, and having a separate entrance that let us move between the two internal rooms was a huge help, although the door separating those rooms was heavy and hard to open.
