“Wij keren zeker terug”
Laurent’s warm welcome, the beautifully renovated building, the very luxurious room with a first‑class bed, and finally the idyllic village of Cunfin with its wooded surroundings.
“Heerlijk verblijf”
A wonderful hotel, very atmospheric décor, nice rooms and a great bed. Lovely garden. We booked a last‑minute overnight stay on the return trip; for dinner you have to reserve three days in advance, which was fine for us because we brought our own bread meal. The host provided plates and cutlery so we could eat it in the common area. The next morning we enjoyed a freshly made French breakfast with homemade croissants, baguette, etc. Laurent was very hospitable and friendly. We’ll definitely come back for another overnight stay and will book early so we can dine.
Parfait 👍
“A wonderfully relaxing stay in a beautifully decorated hotel with terrific service.”
Peaceful location. Extremely clean. Beautifully decorated
“Magical, with a charming host”
A quiet rural spot with lovely gardens, the hotel’s history is fascinating and Laurent, the owner, deserves credit for turning the old building into a comfy place with all the modern touches. Dinner was tasty, and the next‑day breakfast was also good. It’s the perfect stop for anyone heading back to the UK from Switzerland, and we’d have liked to stay longer.
