The bed was comfy and the air‑conditioning was essential, but aside from the inevitable power cuts in Capurganá, the room was dirty, the TV had some unknown residue, and the tiny bathroom had a broken shower head and a bowl full of sand. On top of that, the small room offered no place to store clothes because there was not even one wardrobe.

The staff were very friendly upon arrival, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and overall everything was great—nothing that I didn’t like.

The rooms lack a refrigerator, and given that it’s a beach and sand location, there should be a place to wash and dry clothes.

The place feels more like a generic modern hotel than an island getaway – all white walls and no sea view to speak of. Check‑in was quick, then the staff member vanished as soon as her shift ended. We woke up to a power outage, only the fan kept running, and there wasn’t even a tiny nightlight. There are plenty of better options on the island.
