“Decent location, good price”

The room size, bed, and bathroom were great, and coffee came with a kettle and a few crackers. They offered nice body wash, a shower cap, and a small veranda with a swing that we didn’t use. A couple of tiny lizards slipped in through a gap in the bathroom window screen, which we appreciated as a touch of nature, though some might not. We could park our bike outside our room on the ground floor. The place feels a bit worn out and the outside area could use some work, but overall it was still perfectly comfortable.

There was nothing to like. The grounds were dirty, and the pool was half full of green, slimy water. The condition of the pool was terrible, and when I complained the reply was “it is rainy season now,” yet the pool remained half full and filthy.

The location was good. The pool was full of algae and the pump didn’t work; this only came up when I asked about it, not beforehand or at check‑in. Animals were everywhere, and while we knew that, we didn’t expect frogs and centipedes in a room. The breakfast was very expensive by Thai standards—150 bath per person for a bowl of broth and rice plus a hard‑boiled egg that was overcooked. The toasters were dirty.

“Private accommodation near city area”

It was private and had a good atmosphere. Parking was limited for some rooms.
