Hotel Al Castello’s rooms are clean and feature a handy walk‑in closet, but the hotel overall feels basic. The biggest let‑down was breakfast: only croissants were offered, no eggs, no hot dishes, and no fresh coffee. For the price paid, the value is lacking; I expected far more.

The manager was courteous and helpful, and the hotel sits right in the city center, just a 2‑minute walk to the main square. Breakfast was good, the rooms were the same size as we expected, and the interior parking was convenient.

The hotel’s central location made it easy to reach the city center, and the building itself felt welcoming. However, the staff were not friendly, the room was too hot with an unpleasant odor, and it was noisy; my parents slept badly because of the loud neighbors. Breakfast was very poor: the croissants were counted and the cake was mediocre.

The hotel looks nice and has been recently renovated, with clean and spacious rooms that don’t have air‑conditioning but after a while the lack of cooling isn’t noticeable. There’s plenty of parking, and if you want a garage it’s available, making it a solid value for money.
