Hotel O Balige City Near Tugu Juara Monang

The hotel doesn’t exist because the address doesn’t match what’s on Google Maps, so I didn’t use it.

Unfortunately, I had a difficult time finding the hotel due to unclear directions. When we arrived at 3 pm, our room was still being cleaned, which was frustrating.

The hotel's location is fantastic, with the main street and all the local eateries just a 5-minute walk away. The reception staff were also extremely helpful and accommodating, and I appreciated the option to refill my water bottle with hot or cold water, which was a thoughtful touch to reduce plastic waste. While my room didn't have the view I had hoped for, the hotel's balcony offered stunning views of the surroundings.

For the price of around 5 USD per night, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's amenities, including comfortable beds, hot water, and a decent workspace with a laptop-friendly desk. The view from the room was also lovely, with a beautiful green landscape and mountains in the distance. However, I did notice that the rooms needed some TLC, with creaky faucets and worn-out bedding that needed to be replaced.

“Susah air”

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, thanks to the friendly staff who made me feel welcome. However, I did experience some issues with the water supply, which was quite limited at times.
