The staff was very friendly and there was someone at the reception desk at any time of day or night, which I didn't expect for a small hotel. They didn't speak any English, but they were kind enough to find a way through a translator and genuinely tried to help with all my questions and requests. The hotel is non‑smoking and there was no cigarette smell. The women helped me with a very heavy suitcase since there was no elevator, and I was not able to handle it myself. The charming atmosphere of an old house. For the price, I think this is a good hotel location and it's worth it. If you plan to walk a lot, explore the city, go to restaurants, and rarely visit the hotel, the location is ideal. There are many historic buildings, cafes, shops, and museums nearby. There was always hot water in the shower. I was offered two rooms to choose from. Charming details of the interior of a historic building. Check‑in and check‑out are allowed at any time of the day or night. In the photo, the furniture is covered in brown varnish, but in reality, the paint was white and peeling. For some reason, they decided to paint the tiles in the bathroom too. The white paint was peeling there, too. Obviously, I was there in the off‑season, and I guess it's better in the summer. It was very cold. The heater didn't help because the windows had too many gaps. There were cigarette burn marks on the sheets. Hotels usually have a tea area, slippers, and toiletries. There were only towels and toilet paper. The boxes contained drawings by schoolchildren, which is cute but not what you really expect from a hotel. It seemed to me that because of the low price, the hotel does not allow to have nice little touches like a tea area or new sheets in the rooms. I would not choose this accommodation again due to the old renovation, lack of comfort in small details and lack of air conditioning/sufficient heat. But I really liked the location and the communication with the staff.
