The bed was very comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and competent; the décor has a very old‑school charm, yet the place is wonderfully clean and well maintained.

The room was huge with a spacious, modernised bathroom and a luggage rack that could hold a lot of bags; I could even park my bike in the neighbouring hotel’s parking garage. It was annoying that I had to check in at the hotel next door, that the double windows were awkward to open (they referred to hooks that weren’t there), and that the kettle’s plug didn’t fit the socket.

Parking in front of the hotel is fine and it’s easy to walk into the town centre; the bed is comfortable. The room was very basic and looked run down, and plates are not provided.
