“Pluspunten wogen op tegen zware minpunten qua hygiëne.”

Location perfect, private parking, fridge, microwave, nice room with fresh colors, looked just renovated. Comfortable bed. The room seemed very fresh and clean until we saw the toilet. Poop stains in the bowl, yellow urine stains on the rim and the glass. The cleaning cart was left unattended in the hallway; we had to take a bottle of toilet cleaner from it and clean everything (with toilet paper because there was no toilet brush). The glass was also loose and that was quite dangerous, you could slip off it. A panel in the wardrobe was loose. Glasses were wet in the cabinet. And cutlery was missing: there were 2 spoons, but only 1 knife and 1 fork. Something fell between the beds, and when I tried to pick it up I found that there was a big dust ball under the bed that apparently was never vacuumed. Because I’m not bothered by dirt and brought my own cutlery, I still found the room pleasant overall and it was also cheaper than other hotels.

I stayed right next to the dunes, which was a real plus. No other issues to mention.

“Niet best allemaal”

The bed was solid, but the showerhead holder was broken so you could only hold it, which is fine because you can keep the 220‑volt light switch out of reach. There was also no stopper in the bathtub. Luckily my smooth‑shaved ball‑pen fit, so I could still take a bath. On top of that, the coffee machine didn’t work, a lamp was broken, a socket was broken, a coat rack was broken, and there were a few dents on the balcony. A lot of things need fixing, and I’m actually hoping for a refund.

“I would love to come back again”

The room was beautifully decorated, with a teal‑beige color scheme and gorgeous accents. The little kitchen area was great, though there was no coffee maker in the room. The bathtub in the bathroom was heavenly – not many hotel rooms these days have one. The toilet seat was still broken, as mentioned in previous reviews; I told the housekeeping staff and they said it would be fixed, but it wasn’t while I was there. It didn’t bother me too much, since I’ve used worse toilets on vacation. The sink in the bathroom was leaking.

Zimmer sauber und Ok. Bei der Ankunft hat mich eine Ratte beim warten auf den Schlüssel beobachtet
