The only thing I liked about the property was its proximity to the sea. All I can say is bad. The room I paid for was not in proper condition to be offered as a private room. First of all, I arrived and the bed had no sheets and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. It was way too hot and the AC didn’t work; there was a single fan that only worked with the light on. The smell was bad, mainly due to the high humidity inside the room and the nonexistent ventilation (there’s only one window that faces the front desk… which also comes with a poor curtain that gives you no privacy at all). Also, it is offered with a private bathroom, which is way too small and has a fan on top that during my stay was popping out dead insects such as ants, bees, and flies. It surely is related as well to the ants I found inside my luggage during my stay. The shower barely pumped water so it was difficult to take a comfortable shower. Last but not least, even though the staff was helpful in some cases, they did not seem professional at all; all I saw was a bunch of friends who came up with the “hostel idea”, but it is far from being the hostel experience we all think about.
