The value for money is excellent and the staff are very kind. The ground‑floor room lets you hear everything at the reception and people pass right in front of the door, and it faces a small alley, so you must keep the curtains closed for privacy and the ventilation is limited.

You can pay with UnionPay from RCSB! The room itself is small, with a bed, wardrobe, and fridge. The bathroom is a fascinating Turkish hammam style, linens and towels are included, hot water is always available, and the Wi‑Fi works. Nearby are several shops, including A101, and it’s easy to reach the sights. There is Russian‑speaking staff and the people are very welcoming. The downside, as other guests have mentioned, is that the room is heavily smoked.
