Each corridor has its own lighting circuit and the hallway switches are manual, creating a dim, quiet atmosphere. Overall, a stay with a very individual feel and potential for guests seeking a unique total experience. In the room design, creative solutions were used: the bathroom light switch is outside, providing direct illumination at night. The outlet behind the bed invites you to reorganise the furniture slightly to use it optimally. The wardrobe doors emit a faint squeak, adding nostalgic charm. Upon arrival, the bathroom showed that the sanitary area had been freshly used. Guests who value practical everyday helpers should remember to pack a shoe rack. For valuables, a central safe is available at reception, but flexibility is needed because the reception is not staffed continuously. Breakfast focuses on coziness: if you bring time, you can enjoy the relaxed pace of restocking the buffet. Warm egg dishes are served very crisp and overcooked, and boiled eggs have a particularly firm yolk. A small tip for coffee lovers: when ordering a Latte Macchiato, you first receive warm milk with fine foam – the staff kindly points out that you can add an extra espresso with a button press for the coffee note. The view from the window leads to a gravel bed that previous guests apparently used as a smoking area. Even in public spaces, a subtle, classic smoke odor lingers. The plant arrangements in the hotel adopt a rustic, dried look. Breakfast selection was limited.
