The design was interesting, but when I arrived to check in there was no one there. I had to call a robot four times before someone could finally hand me the key. I ended up checking in in the middle of the street in a dangerous Barcelona neighbourhood at 11:30 p.m., waiting at the door for over half an hour.

The place feels clean overall, yet there's a strong scent—maybe soap or something—probably because the low floor has limited ventilation. The linens and bathroom are spotless, and the central spot is great with plenty of nearby dining options. It lacks the comfort, beauty, and cleanliness of a proper hotel; it feels more like a hostel just for a night's stay, which is acceptable.

Checking in was a breeze, though I initially got lost between two entry doors and ended up at the wrong one. The room itself is compact and not ideal for two people, but the bathroom is surprisingly spacious. The little door to the internal patio is a nice touch, and the location is decent.
