The location and the hotel itself were fine, but the place wasn’t protected against mosquitoes; I got bitten by about 20/30 local mosquitos, which left a strong toxic reaction and itching that lasted a long time. It ruined the rest of my vacation. They gave us a partially renovated room where work had been going on since morning—luckily they didn’t charge us for parking.

I liked the partnership with the hotel next door and the location, but the hot water was barely enough for showers—only a trickle on my last day. The lobby was crowded, and there was a seaweed smell and the beach was covered in seaweed (not your fault).
