The view of the Potomac River and the peaceful gardens is gorgeous. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. My favorite part was sitting by the fire at night, hearing only the river and nighttime animals. It was a much‑needed break.

My stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. The room offered a breathtaking view of the river and was incredibly spacious, exceeding my expectations. I was impressed by the thoughtful touches such as plush towels, nice toiletries, and a selection of snacks and coffee. Although the property is walkable to a few cafes and bars, it maintains a quiet and serene atmosphere, separate from the bustling downtown area.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was a disappointing experience. The location was the only redeeming quality, but that's where it ended. The room was disgustingly dirty, with hair and fur scattered throughout the space, including the bathroom and bedroom. The lack of soundproofing meant that we were woken up at 2 am by our noisy neighbors' phone calls and conversations, which we could clearly hear.
