“All in all a great week! This was our first trip to Marrakesh. Everyone was so friendly and we would definitely return!”
The spot is great, just a 20‑minute walk to the main medina, and the place itself is spotless. On site there are a few restaurants that serve lovely traditional Moroccan breakfasts, and the pizzas at one of them were really good. There’s also a shop that stays open very late, and taxis are easy to get – someone is always there. The fare is about 80–100 MAD. One thing to note: local taxi drivers often don’t know the address; we took a photo of the sign to the entrance and showed it to them, and they knew exactly where to go. The atmosphere was very relaxed, which was a relief after a busy day exploring, so I’d definitely recommend it. We did have a hairdryer but it didn’t work because it wasn’t a European plug – not a big deal, just bring one if you’re visiting. There are a lot of cats around, which we loved – they’re very cute and harmless! The swimming pool was a different story: it was extremely crowded, especially in the height of summer, and it’s closed on Fridays (which we already knew). There are three pools – a shallow one for small kids, a medium one for bigger kids, and an adults‑only pool. There were very few sunbeds, so it wasn’t very relaxing and we only used it three times during our week. The local children were very wild, splashing and jumping aggressively, and the lifeguards didn’t seem too bothered by their behavior. Children were not allowed in the adult pool even if they just sat on the side, which was a shame.
