We were very disappointed with our stay, mainly because of a receptionist’s completely inappropriate behavior. When we arrived, the staff member shouted at us and blamed us for being late, even though I had called beforehand and told them we would arrive after 10 p.m. The receptionist had already accepted that on the phone. It was baffling that he suddenly blamed us upon arrival and behaved so unprofessionally. He even said we should enjoy the day while he had already been working since morning, which was rude. Personal accusations have no place with guests. If a hotel accepts a late arrival, the guest shouldn’t be berated or shouted at. This treatment was unacceptable and far from what you expect from a professional hotel. Courtesy, respect and proper guest treatment should be standard. This employee left a very bad impression and ruined the hotel’s reputation. The room also failed to impress: the furniture and overall setup looked cheap, basic and sometimes inadequate. Most disappointing: there was no hair dryer in the bathroom. For the price and the hotel’s claim, that is not acceptable. Bottom line: a disappointing stay, unprofessional reception and poor room quality, so we cannot recommend this hotel.

The room was bright and clean, though a bit Spartan in its furnishings. The bed was comfortable. Free parking and a bus stop right outside the building were very handy. I’d definitely suggest the hotel for a weekend, but for a longer holiday the room feels a bit too small and minimal.
