Casita Hostel House Bangkok

We only have comments about the experience with them, not the hostel itself. We wanted to check in in the morning (we had booked an extra night, so availability was there). The host “upgraded” us to a completely different building in another location on a busy main street. It felt like an abandoned building, probably used for photo shoots because there were some gear left. It was quite dirty, there were hairs on the futon (there was no bed), the bathroom could have used cleaning, and the whole building smelled. The key to the “upgrade” mansion was a bicycle lock. I don’t know about the hostel, because we never saw it and decided to look for something else after this experience.

“Una Casita en Bangkok”

The experience went beyond the accommodation and let me live Bangkok in a more genuine way, making beautiful connections with the locals and other travelers. The location is excellent for exploring the city’s key spots and also enjoying its more authentic side, getting lost in its streets. The service was great; Ale and Kiti make you feel at home all the time, they’re very generous (for example, I could leave my large luggage with them and travel to the south lighter). I was lucky to join a group Pilates class they often organize in a nearby park, and it turned into an intercultural group :D. I really felt at home, very comfortable and surrounded by nice people.

“Ok”

The hostel is cheap and in a convenient spot, but the owner Alex is a real pest who keeps cutting into conversations and spoils the vibe everywhere, and the toilets sometimes get clogged with other people's mess.

Everyone on the staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home, plus the location is spot‑on, just a stone's throw from everything.

The place has air conditioning and a decent location, but the photos are a bit misleading—it's not as clean or new as they look, and the dorm curtains barely hold. The bathroom and toilet area is right across from the rooms, so you hear everything and it’s not exactly spotless, though it’s still a hostel. The host wasn’t very welcoming and seemed to force conversation.
