We stayed at Hotel Grand Mer Sankaiso with our family of three during the busy Golden Week holiday. Even though the hotel was crowded, the staff handled everything efficiently and kept operations running smoothly. The dining was a highlight, with both breakfast and dinner buffets offering an absolutely outstanding variety of delicious food. We also enjoyed the hotel's saltwater hot spring, which was a unique and refreshing experience. Nearby, there’s a charming traditional hot spring bathhouse, but you must book in advance to use it. Above all, every staff member we met was incredibly friendly and dedicated to their work. We want to thank the entire team for giving us such a wonderful and memorable stay.

The pricey hotel didn’t even have a washing machine, and despite staying two nights I still had to collect my own towels from the front desk, while no housekeeping came by at all during the daytime.

The lounge’s spot was fantastic, and the sunset over the sea from the open‑air bath left me speechless! However, the hallway smelled off when I stepped out of the elevator, which was annoying.
