The building was new and clean, but the hallway and my room had a strong weed odor that made me nauseous throughout my stay, and I felt a “contact high” while riding in the elevator. Some staff were friendly, yet others were downright rude and hateful. The beds were extremely hard, and they charged extra for towels, washcloths, pillows, and any similar items.

They didn’t have a suite, and there were no pots, pans, plates, silverware, or a place for two people to sit and eat together. I ended up staying at a better Motel 8 instead. The policy didn’t state that pets had to be crated when left alone, and I couldn’t get a towel unless I brought one myself. I also couldn’t get an extra bath mat to place under the dog’s water bowl to protect the floor.

The room was very clean, but the back door security lock didn’t work. There was no coffee machine in the room, no iron, not enough towels, no soap or shampoo, and the lobby coffee didn’t become available until 7:01 am.

I appreciated that the room had a refrigerator and ample storage space, and the staff seemed to understand my concerns and were extremely polite about not being able to remedy the issue. However, the bed was too small and too low to the floor, which was very off‑putting, and it was extremely uncomfortable. I was upset that, for the price, we were only allowed two towels a day, even when the floor flooded from the shower into our room.
