The Pointe at Castle Hill Resort & Spa

“Great staff, very clean comfortable room that had everything I needed.”

Very clean and roomy, the bed was super comfy, and the staff were incredibly helpful and available whenever needed. I just wish it had been closer to my event in Rutland.

This place offers the most reasonable rates around, and it stayed clean and comfy throughout our visit.

The hotel sits amid mountains and is close to the tiny town of Ludlow, and the room was spacious with extra room to move. The carpet felt a bit damp, the bathroom looked outdated, and the online listing claimed an outdoor pool when in reality the pool belongs to the spa and you have to pay extra to use it.

“Great location for our “staycation” we will likely come back.”

The rooms were huge and beautiful. Very spacious and had everything we needed. The only negative I have is that our hotel key was deactivated 3 times during the stay. They did warn us to keep the key away from magnets, electronics or other credit cards (which is really hard to do) but after the first deactivation happened we were positive it never came close to one of those things after that and it still happened again. So that was a slight inconvenience, however the staff was very helpful about it and a quick trip to the desk and it was solved within seconds each time

“Exactly as described, which is unusual these days.”

For the price, the place was exceptional: everything was clean, well maintained, and quiet, and the staff who greeted us were courteous and sensitive when they learned we were there for a funeral. I can’t find any negatives; it surpassed expectations and stayed spotless.
