“A perfect spot in Murnau”
The breakfast that came with the stay was very good. We stayed in the new rooms over the garage and found our room very spacious, comfortable and super clean.

The Griesbräu zu Murnau hotel, a 4-star establishment, offers traditional Bavarian accommodations in Murnau's centre. A brewery serves typical Bavarian food and features a beer garden. The hotel is 2 km from Murnauer Moos Nature Preserve and 15 minutes from Staffelsee Lake. Cosy rooms have high-quality wooden furnishings, some with free wireless internet. A breakfast buffet is served daily, near Murnau Ort Train Station.

We had a beautiful, large room in the annex and a terrace overlooking the courtyard, so it was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were quick and attentive.

Location. They gave each of us one small pillow. The room had no air‑conditioning or fan. On the first night we slept with the window open and kept waking up because someone was pushing carts on the cobblestones, shouting, and later the garbage collectors came. The room faced the main shopping street. On the second night we slept poorly because the windows were closed and it was stuffy. Now we’re in central Munich, at the same price, the hotel has air‑conditioning, the room is newer and more comfortable.

We booked a room with a terrace in the newest building of the hotel. There was a fridge and the option to make coffee. The furnishings are very high‑quality, the bathroom is large with a nice shower. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good as always. Nothing to complain about.
