The spot is naturally beautiful, but the sauna and toilet areas were in poor condition, with indoor air quality problems and a dangerously loose rail and lamp in the sauna.

It's pretty isolated here, which is actually a big plus for spotting the northern lights - and the kotta is really nice. You can even borrow snowshoes to walk on the frozen lake, and the views are amazing. That said, you can hear the neighbors a bit, and the arrival instructions could've been clearer.
We had a fantastic time here - the location is ideal for seeing the northern lights and taking long walks on the frozen lake. The cabin is spacious and really comfortable, and we felt right at home.
Aurora Hut is small and cozy, and we received clear instructions for arrival and staying on site; with no other bookings we could use all the facilities—including the main building, kitchen, and sauna—quietly, and the spectacular auroras this weekend capped the trip. The dry toilet smelled.
