The guesthouse is wonderful! The interior design is pleasant, the renovation is high quality, and the furniture is sturdy. The bathroom is clean, odor‑free, has modern plumbing, and features a bathtub instead of a shower (a rare find in mini‑hotels). The bed is comfortable and firm, and the linens and towels are clean. Hot water is always available. The patio is especially nice for evenings when a gentle breeze blows. The walk to the old town takes about 10 minutes, and along the way there are many cafés, restaurants, and mini‑markets. The price is very reasonable for the quality of accommodation, and the cost includes a tasty breakfast with a variety of dishes and drinks. Plus, the host, Simon, is friendly and attentive, and the stay is absolutely free of charge. Simon House is a place you’ll want to return to. The only downside is that the hotel is on the road, and Hoi An wakes up early, so traffic noise can disturb sleep, though this is hardly noticed after long walks and the excitement of exploring the city.

Simon is the nicest woman, always ready to help you. Enormous breakfast with plenty of delicious fruits. For this price you will hardly find better. The place is 15 minutes far from the city center, which can be annoying when it’s hot, but Simon always lent us bicycles <3. Don’t expect them to clean your room every day.

Simon is a great host! She and her family are so lovely! We could use her shower already as we arrived really early, before our own room was ready. Leaving our bags at her home for one day was no problem at all – thanks so much!
