The family was very kind and very human; I saw their hospitality firsthand when I spent time with them during Holi, which I appreciated a lot to understand how things work for the festival. There are many restaurants around, and it’s a 30‑minute walk to the center.

The host Omprakash was incredibly friendly and eager to help, but my first room lacked running water, so I switched rooms right away. The new room came with a barrel and an RO water dispenser, and it was quiet, though the Wi‑Fi kept dropping and there was no window covering, so it wasn’t very dark.
