I loved the food, the breakfast spot right by the sea, and the staff were helpful and smiling. The only downside was that there was only one type of beer called THB and you couldn’t pay with a credit card – you’d better bring cash or do a transfer.

I can’t think of any reason not to love this place – I loved it so much! ❤️ Everything was perfect from the airport welcome to the boat transfer with Djouma, to the arrival at the hotel where the whole team greeted me with incredible kindness. Honestly, giving it 10/10 feels almost too low! The room, the view, the quiet… a real little paradise. The meals were a treat, but what really sets it apart are the people. I felt welcomed with simplicity, care, and a lot of warmth. You can go there with your eyes closed. And definitely book Djouma to explore the island and nearby islets; he’ll craft a custom stay and show you beautiful spots. I was traveling alone and felt completely comfortable and surrounded throughout the trip. I’m leaving with wonderful memories and just one wish: to come back. Huge thanks to the whole team for the welcome, kindness, and all the great moments. ❤️

The staff were delightful and moved to care for me when I fell very ill. Dinner was always a surprise and consistently excellent. I really liked the very remote location; my husband found it a bit too far from everything. The next village was a 75‑minute walk, but the pure nature made it worth it. The bungalows urgently need an update – the bedside lamp and fan didn’t work, the mosquito net and a few other items were dirty. The biggest issue was the windows: in the bathroom/closet and behind the bed there were openings only partially protected by wooden slats. It was drafty and you could see in at any time. If the Koma Lodge fixes these urgent shortcomings, it will truly become the paradise it should be.

A magnificent establishment with attentive staff, excellent meals, and a hearty breakfast. It’s paradise on earth, you feel so good there… and thanks for the little gifts. They always say “no two without three,” and that’s for sure! Thank you for this wonderful stay, we forget everything.

A simply paradisiacal spot in Madagascar! Sleeping with the sound of the sea is just incredible and the nights are long in the right direction… Zen, cool. The girls’ kitchen, because it’s too good lol! We eat too much, too well. Simple but super tasty. Great job team… keep it up… I’ll come back with pleasure.
