I stayed at a hotel that had its positives and negatives. The cleanliness was decent, and the location was fairly close to the beach, although it wasn't in the best part of the waterfront. However, the hotel lacked any common areas, and the staff struggled to communicate in English, which made things difficult for me. I also had to search for an ATM at 3 am because they only accepted cash or Indian cards for payment.

The hotel's location was its strongest point, as it was just a stone's throw away from the beach. I found it difficult to relax in such a congested environment, and the absence of a communal space made it feel more like a hostel than a hotel.
